This is the bowl that turns figs into centerpieces and snacks into ceremonies. Hand-turned by artisans on a traditional lathe, its slender pedestal base lifts the 6" bowl to a perfect serving height – ideal for passing spiced nuts across the table, or displaying as a fruit bowl.
As food-safe tung oil deepens the wood’s natural grain – amber rivers and whorled knots unique to your piece – it becomes more than serveware; it’s a testament to how thoughtful design transforms daily routines into measured moments of grace.

Shipping to Europe
Shipping is free for all orders above CHF 150 or 150 EUR.
Flat rate shipping of CHF 15 or 15 EUR is offered for orders that do not qualify for free shipping.
Shipping costs do not include additional customs or import duties. Any additional customs or duties must be paid by the customer directly to the carrier. If you have any queries regarding international orders - reach out to us at contact@homeandtheworld.com.
Shipping to Canada
We offer free shipping on all orders within Canada.
Shipping to the USA
Free shipping is offered for orders over $150 USD within the United States .
Flat rate shipping of $15 is offered for orders that do not qualify for free shipping.
All orders placed on or after 24 December 2025 will be shipped DDP (Delivery Duty Paid). Shop with peace of mind that no additional fees will be required upon delivery.
Are returns free?
Yes, we cover all return shipping costs for orders to Europe and Canada. We’ll email you a prepaid return label.
How long do I have to return an item?
Return any unused, undamaged item within 30 days of delivery for a full refund.
How soon will I get my refund?
Refunds are processed within 24 hours of receiving and inspecting your return.
What condition should returns be in?
All items must be unused, in new condition, with tags and original packaging intact. We cannot accept used or damaged returns.
What if my order arrives damaged?
- Notify us within 24 hours of delivery.
- Include photos of the damaged item + packaging.
- We’ll send a replacement or issue a full refund (including original shipping) immediately.
