THE CRAFT

Where Fire, Forest, and Women’s Hands Forge Heritage Pottery

From the women artisans of Meghalaya - guardians of standing pottery - comes this unique, sculptural platter. Without wheels or machines, artisans coax forest-sourced clay into expansive forms. Fired in open bhatti kilns and baptized in Sohlia bark infusion, its surface emerges in organic waves of charcoal, terracotta, or smoke-gray - each hue a record of fire’s dance with forest.

Use it as a stage for life's simple abundances. Layer it with crusty bread and olives for an impromptu feast, or use its expansive canvas to display a curated collection of sea-glass and stones, each item elevated by the platter's profound, earthy presence.
