Hand-Engraved Buds Blooming on Brass
Crafted in Peetal Nagri (Brass City), this trio bears the quiet confidence of a 2,300-year metal legacy. Each piece begins as molten brass (copper + zinc), hand-poured into resin-bonded sand molds before being finessed into fluid forms capped with floral bud finials—a nod to temple craftsmanship that once shaped deities. Electroplated for a warm, tarnish-resistant glow, their weight balances grace with substance.
Designed not to dazzle, but to serve: the ladle’s deep bowl for stews, the fork’s tines for composed salads, the spoon’s curve for chutneys. This is cutlery that remembers it was born from sacred alloy.
Sacred Alloy, Modern Ritual
Brass flows at 900°C into molds mixed with sand, resin, and borax—a recipe unchanged since artisans cast Panchdhatu gods. Today’s karigars honor that alchemy.
Floral Finial Alchemy
Bud tips demand 8 hours of hand-engraving per set. Using chisels thinner than rose thorns, masters carve floral bud finials.
Living Finish
Electroplating seals the brass beneath a protective embrace. Over decades, handles will warm to honey-gold where palms grip most, writing your history into the metal.
